Documentation changelog
Follow updates to the BlueNotary integration guides, API reference, and implementation tools.
Documentation release • 6 November 2026
The developer documentation now brings workflow guides, an integration guide builder, the API v2 reference, and operational guidance into one site. This entry records a documentation release; it does not announce a change to the API.
What is included
Find implementation guidance organized around the workflow your application needs.
- Immediate and scheduled RON with network or internal-team routing.
- Specific team-notary assignment, eSign, and IPEN.
- Documents, templates, participants, events, and recovery.
- All 13 registered v2 operations with illustrative examples.
- A guide builder and local API-response simulator.
Contract distinctions made explicit
The reference explains signing type and session category, identifies which behavior depends on account settings, and distinguishes creation from final-document readiness.
- Use ron/esign/ipen for signing_type; gnw is a session category.
- Signed PDF retrieval uses signed_documents and its Base64 response.
- Use signing_urls for current participant-link examples.
- Treat webhook document modes separately from signer-facing release policy.
- Preserve endpoint-specific error and response shapes.
Known integration boundaries
Account configuration determines routing, notifications, and release behavior. Confirm test-environment behavior before sending requests. The guides call out signer-selected timing, partial document uploads, and state transitions where additional verification is required. The browser response simulator uses local examples and sends no API requests.
About release dates
Dates on this page identify documentation updates. An API behavior change requires a separate release entry describing the affected operation, compatibility impact, and any action your integration needs to take.
